When you click a buy link on this site and purchase, we may receive a small commission — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same.

How the links work

Every buy button routes through our /golink resolver, which adds our Amazon tracking tag and forwards you to the product. The resolver is a simple redirect; it doesn't change your price or collect personal information about you. Outbound affiliate links carry rel="sponsored"as Google's guidelines require.

Prices are live, not typed

The prices you see come from Amazon's Product Advertising API and are stamped with the date we checked them. If our data is more than 48 hours old, the number disappears and the button reads "Check price on Amazon". We never display a hand-typed or remembered price. Amazon's price at checkout is always the one that counts.

Commissions never change a ranking

This is the important part. Our rankings are driven by certification, weight, quiet, fit and value — never by what a helmet pays us. You'll routinely find budget helmets ranked above flagships that would earn us more, precisely because we rank buyer-first. How we score is fully public on the methodology page, and our independence commitments are in the editorial policy.
