Black Friday & Cyber Monday Motorcycle Helmet & Gear Deals 2026

No Black Friday deals are live yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. Here is what motorcycle helmets and gear have historically been discounted around the sales, what rarely is, and whether to buy now or wait - and this is where verified deals get posted when they go live in November.

We earn a commission when you buy through our Amazon links, at no extra cost to you. It never changes a ranking, and we tell you when the cheaper helmet is the better buy. How this works.

Most Black Friday deal pages published in September are guesses dressed up as news. This one isn't. As of September 15, 2026, no Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals on motorcycle helmets or gear are live, and we have no advance knowledge of what will be discounted or by how much. What we can do honestly is show you what has been discounted around past sales, what tends not to be, and how to decide whether to buy now or wait. When deals actually go live in November, they will be posted on this page. Our current top picks are below with live Amazon prices, so you can see today's price for yourself.

When Black Friday and Cyber Monday are in 2026

Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, the day after Thanksgiving, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Sales rarely stick to those two days, though. For reference, Amazon's Black Friday Week deals in 2025 started on November 20, eight days before Black Friday itself. Amazon hadn't announced its 2026 Black Friday dates when we published this page. It has announced one earlier event: Prime Big Deal Days on October 6-7, 2026, for Prime members. We don't know which helmets or gear will be included in either.

What has historically been discounted

We looked at past Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale pages from the big US motorcycle gear retailers, brand announcements and press coverage. Here is what the record actually shows.

  • Closeout helmets - last season's graphics and older models. This is where the deepest helmet discounts have clustered. When we checked RevZilla's holiday helmet deals page (still titled for 2025), every one of the first 15 helmets listed was labeled a closeout. J&P Cycles describes its closeouts as "last season's inventory," and the first helmets on Cycle Gear's closeout page were older Shoei models (the RF-SR and Neotec 2) and specific named graphics of the Shoei RF-1400.
  • Big retailer site-wide sales. RevZilla advertised savings of "up to 60%" on riding gear for Black Friday 2024 and again for Cyber Monday 2024. Remember that an "up to" figure describes the biggest markdown in the sale, not what a typical item gets.
  • Bluetooth intercoms. Cardo ran its own Black Friday sale in 2024 - "up to 20% off all products (excluding the PACKTALK PRO)" from November 28 through December 5. Coverage of RevZilla's 2024 Cyber Monday sale featured both the Cardo Packtalk Edge and the Sena 50S, and Cycle Gear runs a dedicated Sena and Cardo Black Friday Bluetooth page.
  • Some premium helmets. Coverage of RevZilla's Black Friday 2024 sale listed the Shoei RF-1400 and Shoei Neotec 3 among its featured deals, though without their regular prices, so the size of those discounts isn't clear from the record.

What is less likely to get a deep discount

  • The top-of-the-range model. In the one brand-run intercom sale we could verify, Cardo's 2024 Black Friday sale covered "all products" except one: the Packtalk Pro, the model above the Edge in Cardo's range. One sale isn't a rule, but it's a reason not to assume a brand's top model will be included.
  • Current premium helmets in the exact color you want. Shoei introduced a US dealer advertising policy in 2017 under which dealers could show either no price or the current MSRP for current Shoei helmets. Shoei also stated that the policy doesn't control the price dealers actually sell at, and we couldn't confirm whether it is still in force today. What we could see is that discounted Shoeis on closeout pages were mostly older models and particular graphics. If you're set on a current model in one specific colorway, a big discount on exactly that combination is far from guaranteed.
  • Every size of a closeout. Some of the closeout helmets we saw were listed in only one or two sizes. A great deal in the wrong size is not a deal - a helmet that doesn't fit doesn't protect the way its certification promises.

What we couldn't verify: Amazon's past Black Friday prices for the specific helmets and intercoms on this page. The price-history services we tried blocked access, so we are not going to tell you what any of them will cost in November.

Buy now or wait for November?

Our honest take, by the kind of product you're shopping for:

  • A helmet you need to ride in now. Buy now. If a helmet has been dropped or crashed, or has reached the end of its life, riding in it for two more months to save money is the wrong trade. Our guide on when to replace a helmet explains how to tell.
  • A current premium helmet in a specific color. Waiting may not buy you much, for the reasons above. If you're flexible on graphic, color or last year's model, closeouts are where helmet discounts have historically been deepest - but only if your size is in stock.
  • A bolt-on intercom. Intercoms have a clear track record of appearing in Black Friday sales, both from the brand and from retailers. If they don't need it before winter, waiting until November is reasonable. Just don't assume a brand's top-of-the-range model will be included.
  • A helmet as a gift. Fit matters more than the sale price, so make sure a return is possible if the size is wrong. For the 2025 holidays, Amazon let most items bought between November 1 and December 31 be returned until January 31, 2026. It hadn't announced a 2026 window when we published this, so check the terms on the order page. Our helmet gifts guide covers the sizing.
  • Small accessories. Buy them when you need them. On earplugs, visor cleaner or an anti-fog coating, even a genuine percentage discount comes to a few dollars, which isn't worth a winter of fogged visors. See our gifts under $50.

How we'll post deals on this page

When Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals go live, we'll update this page with the specific helmets, intercoms and accessories that are genuinely reduced. We run a price check on every product on this site every day and have done since July 2026, so when a price drops we can compare it with what the listing has actually cost through the fall, rather than with a list price. We won't call something a deal because a retailer says it is, we won't publish predicted discounts, and every price you see will still come from the same live data as the buttons below - shown only while it's fresh.

One thing to know about the buttons today: some show a struck-through price and a percentage. That's Amazon's own comparison with the listing's list price, shown on the live listing right now. It isn't a Black Friday deal, and we haven't verified it as one.

Our current top picks, with live prices

These are the top-ranked picks from our buying guides - the winners of our adventure, modular, full-face and Bluetooth categories, the Sena alternative for riders whose group runs Sena, and the best-documented budget helmet. They're the products we'd watch for a genuine price drop. Every helmet's certification is shown in the table and cited in its review, and the certification on the shell doesn't change in a sale - so decide what fits your head and your riding first, then shop for the price.

Pros

  • Dynamic Mesh (DMC) self-heals as riders drop in and out — and Cardo's free Mesh Boost update raised the group ceiling from 15 riders to 31
  • JBL 40 mm speakers are a real step up in clarity
  • IP67 rated — genuinely weatherproof, not just water-resistant

Cons

  • Premium price for a comms unit
  • The magnetic Air Mount is great but a proprietary part to keep track of
  • The 31-rider ceiling assumes every unit in the group has the Mesh Boost update — mixed groups drop back to 15

Cons

  • Bulkier bolt-on profile than the Cardo Edge
  • Best value only if you're already committed to Sena Mesh
  • No published IP water rating, and a group mixing updated and older units has to drop to Mesh 2.0

How to judge a Black Friday helmet deal

Check the certification first. A discount doesn't change what a helmet is certified to. Look for the marks on the exact model and version you're buying - US and European versions of the same helmet can carry different certifications. Our DOT vs ECE vs Snell explainer covers what each one means.

Check the size before the price. Closeout stock is often limited to certain sizes, and a helmet in the wrong size is never a bargain. Our measuring guide takes a minute.

Check what's being discounted. Is it the current model or last year's? A specific graphic? A single unit or a two-pack intercom? The name on a deal can match the helmet you researched while the version doesn't.

Compare with a real price, not a list price. A percentage off a list price tells you little on its own. Compare with what the product has actually sold for recently.

Never buy a used or "like new" helmet to save money. Impact damage can hide inside the liner. This is the one piece of gear where the saving is never worth it.

How we picked

We do not crash-test helmets

We compiled published specifications, cited each helmet's certification (DOT, ECE 22.06, Snell, SHARP) from the standards body or manufacturer homologation, and aggregated owner reports, then scored against a published method. The scores are judgments from documented research — not measurements we took. We do not run a crash lab. Certifications reflect the US-market build; where it differs from the European version, we say so and cite it.

Questions

Frequently asked

When is Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Retailers often start earlier - Amazon's 2025 Black Friday Week deals began on November 20. Amazon hadn't announced its 2026 Black Friday dates when we published this page; its Prime Big Deal Days event runs October 6-7, 2026.
Do motorcycle helmets go on sale on Black Friday?
Some do. Past Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales at major US gear retailers have included helmets, with the deepest helmet discounts concentrated in closeouts - last season's graphics and older models, often in limited sizes. Current premium models in a specific color are less predictable.
Are Cardo and Sena intercoms discounted on Black Friday?
They have been. Cardo ran a 2024 Black Friday sale of up to 20% off all products except the Packtalk Pro, and RevZilla's 2024 Cyber Monday coverage featured the Cardo Packtalk Edge and Sena 50S. We don't know what 2026 will bring and won't predict it.
Should I wait for Black Friday to buy a motorcycle helmet?
Not if you need it now - a damaged or worn-out helmet should be replaced straight away. If you're flexible on color or model year, closeout sales have historically offered the deepest helmet discounts. For a current premium model in a specific color, waiting may not save much.
Why don't you list Black Friday deals yet?
Because none are live, and we don't publish predicted discounts. We'll post specific deals on this page once they go live in November, checked against the prices our daily checks have recorded.
