Privacy policy

What we collect

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful, in aggregate. It sets cookies and collects standard usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). We use it to improve the site, not to identify you personally.
• Contact form.If you email us or use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you provide, so we can reply. We don't use it for marketing.
• Affiliate links. When you click a buy link, our /go resolver forwards you to Amazon with our tracking tag. Amazon then applies its own cookies and privacy policy. We see aggregate click counts, not your identity or your purchases.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal data.
• We don't run intrusive third-party ad networks or build advertising profiles on you.
• We don't require an account — there's nothing to sign up for.

Cookies

The cookies on this site come from Google Analytics (usage measurement) and, after you click out, from Amazon (affiliate attribution). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works fine without them, you'll just be counted as a new visitor each time.

Third parties

We rely on Google (Analytics), Amazon (affiliate program and product data), and Vercel (hosting). Each has its own privacy policy governing the data it processes. Our contact form is delivered via Microsoft's email service.

Your choices

You can use browser controls or extensions to limit analytics, and you can contact us at info@visorandvent.com to ask what contact-form data we hold about you or to have it deleted.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above. Material changes will be noted on the page.
